1. Create a site
Sign up with email, Google or GitHub. Your account starts with a workspace of its own; add a site to it with the domain it runs on, such as example.com.
2. Add the tracker
Open Settings → Installation for the site. It shows your site id and a snippet with it filled in. Paste the snippet into the <head> of every page:
<script
async
src="https://api.invisit.dev/invisit.js"
data-site="<site id>"
data-collector="https://api.invisit.dev"
></script>Using a bundler or a framework? Install the package instead and call init() once in the browser:
npm install @invisitdev/webimport { init } from '@invisitdev/web'
init({ site: '<site id>' })3. Check that it works
Deploy, open your site in a new tab, then open Realtime in the dashboard. Your visit shows up within a few seconds. If nothing arrives, Settings → Blocked traffic lists what the collector refused for the site over the last 14 days, and why. The most common cause is a domain missing from Settings → Collection.
Ad blockers that block third-party analytics hosts can hide your own visit. Add the first-party proxy to measure those visitors too.

- Record custom events such as signups and purchases.
- Link visits to your users once they sign in.
