What is Sitebulb?
A website auditing tool. Sitebulb says its crawler only visits a site when a user chooses to audit it.
Crawls for an SEO product: backlink indexes, site audits, rank data. It sends no visitors; blocking it is common and harmless.
Sitebulb respects robots directives by default, but users can turn that off, use a virtual robots.txt, or crawl as Googlebot or a custom user agent. Its published IP ranges cover Sitebulb Cloud only.

Block it freely if the load bothers you. It sends no visitors; the only cost is that the tool’s users, your competitors included, see less of your site.
How to block Sitebulb in robots.txt
Sitebulb documents no robots.txt token for Sitebulb that we could confirm, so we don’t suggest one here. Block it at your server or firewall by user agent instead.
How to verify a request is really Sitebulb
Anyone can send any user agent, so the string alone proves nothing.
Sitebulb publishes the IP ranges Sitebulb crawls from. A request that claims to be Sitebulb from any other address is not Sitebulb.
See when Sitebulb reads your site
Bots don’t run JavaScript analytics, so a script tag never sees them. invisit records crawler reads on the server instead, through its server SDK or a Cloudflare Worker, and shows which bots read which pages, next to your visitors.
